Solar4Rain, a PUNK atmospheric symbiosis, is an installation born from a question as simple as it is revolutionary: who owns the rain, the sun, or the energy that flows between them? Imagining an invisible bridge between Bergen —a city soaked in water— and Llerena —a land of sun and light— the piece proposes a symbolic and technological exchange between ecosystems.
Through sensors, solar panels, motors, and flows of water, the plants communicate and cooperate as non-human intelligences, activating gestures of solidarity that challenge the logic of control and profit.
Conceived by Maite Cajaraville and Gisle Frøysland, this site-specific installation unfolds simultaneously in both cities, combining art, science fiction, and data visualization to imagine a future in which nature—rather than markets—sets the rules of exchange and survival.
