INTERIM DISSONANCE
The duo – founded by LILU HERLAMBANG aka A.V.SUALS & DR. NEXUS somewhere in berlins nightlife – creates dissonance, not just as noise or visual rupture, but as a phenomenon rooted in inherited imbalance. Glitches, distortions, and signal breakdowns are treated as raw materials, revealing the negative space of communication – embracing error as expression.
The result is an audiovisual experience shaped by absence, interruption, and unresolved harmony, where dissonance becomes a method of uncovering what lies beneath.

Based in Berlin, her work is grounded in improvisation and guided by a deep curiosity for audiovisual dissonance—treating noise as expression, and the visual as the beginning of notation.

is a berlin based electronic, electro acoustic and voice improviser and visual artist. coming from the fine arts (painting, sculpture, sound installations, performance) dr. nexus started to explore the field of sound art, experimental, noise & industrial music about 30 years ago.
